DUI Education and Counseling

Here at New Visions Court Counseling Services, Inc., you will find suburban Chicago’s most comprehensive DUI education and counseling services. We offer both informative and recovery-focused programs for men and women of all ages. As a preferred provider in both DuPage and Will Counties, we can service the needs of people who get DUIs and must be evaluated for substance abuse and/or addiction.

What You Can Expect

If you have been issued a court order to attend DUI education/counseling, you will need to set up an appointment with one of our offices. When you arrive at our outpatient facilities in any one of our  Chicago area locations (Downers Grove, Naperville), you will be greeted by friendly staff ready to answer any questions you may have.

From there, you will briefly meet with a counselor in order to properly evaluate your needs. Finally, you’ll be invited to join in either a group session for risk education or a group treatment session. Which you are assigned to is determined by the level of your court evaluation, the severity of your offense and your intake results.

Our risk education group sessions focus on providing education about DUI, its effects and consequences, and alcohol awareness. Our group treatment sessions help our clients get on the path to recovery from alcohol or drug abuse and/or addiction. We understand that what you’re going through is very personal, which is why we take our job very seriously. We are dedicated to helping people get their lives back on track after DUI.
